Bio
As a graduate of York University, Lorraine Godwin began her mining career working as a geophysicist for a small mining consultancy firm called Gamah International. From 1995 – 1998 she worked on and managed exploration programs in British Columbia, Yukon Territory and Honduras. In 1998 she took a technical support position with Geosoft Inc, providing software support to Geosoft’s geoscientific community. Over the past 15 years, she has sat on Geosoft’s Board of Directors, and went from providing technical support, to sales account management, to managing Geosoft’s North American business office. From 2009 – 2012, Lorraine served as co-chair for the Women in Mining (WIM) Toronto networking group, and joined the TGDG committee in 2013.
