            After earning a M.Sc. at Queen's University in 1981, Lynda Bloom gained experience as an exploration geochemist planning and interpreting geochemical surveys across Canada. She has been president of the consulting company Analytical Solutions Ltd. since 1985 and has worked internationally on projects ranging from stream sediment surveys to mine laboratory audits. She is recognized as a world-expert on sampling, assaying and quality control.  She has held management and director positions at several public companies and has a pragmatic perspective of risk and implementation. She served as a director of the PDAC (2005-2013) and other volunteer organizations (GAC, CIM Toronto Branch, AEG) and is active on advisory committees.
